Is this the year King James becomes a champion? Will the NBA's number one marquee player win his first championship in his sixth year in the league? Will he and his teammates be able to dethrone the champion Celtics? Will a MVP trophy accompany a championship trophy on his mantle? All these questions and many more will be answered shortly because the NBA playoffs will begin in less than two weeks. The Celtics are expected to give Cleveland a run for their money meanwhile the Lakers may get a shot at him in the Finals.
As of this writing Cleveland is practically assured home court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference section of the playoffs. They hold a one game edge over the Lakers for overall best record and the award of a home game for a possible seventh and deciding game in the finals. |
